ECAD Audit pricing per Air Conditioning Unit
Effective June 1, 2009, a city of Austin ordinance requires homes within the city limits, 10 years or older, that receive services from Austin Energy and are on the market for sale, to have an energy audit completed by a certified auditor prior to the property being closed and sold. AES is a registered company with Austin Energy and our technicians are BPI certified. Some homes are exempt from this ordinance.

Average cost for full 2015 IECC testing is $300–$400. For an exact price we need to know how many square feet the home is and how many ducted HVAC systems.
